Vulcanising Road Planers

The only suitable method for joining conveyor belts on road planers is hot vulcanisation: this is how OEM belts are jointed in the factory.

Whilst cold bonding and mechanical fasteners work for other applications we would never recommend it on a planer other than for a temporary solution.

Using techniques we have perfected over twenty years, we are able to hot vulcanise almost all road planer belts in situ. This eliminates around two days down time for the machine when compared with the removal of the conveyor/s required to fit an endless belt.

Whilst most belt replacements are done in the workshop we can hot vulcanise a new belt on at the side of the road in a breakdown situation.
